Summer Fun Printable Packet

For my end of the year gifts for my students I compiled this packet of summer fun ideas. Things parents can do at home with their child over the summer to make learning fun! I added them to some buckets with other materials too. Some of the suggestions in the packet, they can use the items in the bucket for!

I know most of you are out of school, but some of you haven't quite finished up yet. You can grab this packet for free if you want to use it with your students too! It would probably be more ideal for pre-schoolers, or your intervention K students. But, HEY! it's Free! Download it and see if it meets your needs!

Community Helpers Sorting

I have a quick little freebie to share with you for community helpers! I know many of you may not be doing a community helpers theme right now, but we just finished one up 2 weeks ago. (Sorry--life really got in the way of blogging recently!) But go ahead and download this one to save for next year!

This is a great resource for a special education classroom, or for students with autism. The pictures used are simple boardmaker images.

Shape Tracing Eggs!

I created these shape tracing eggs for my students to practice their writing and fine motor skills. To prep; print, laminate, then provide students with Expo markers and erasers. 

Depending on your class size you may want to consider printing more than one set.

Bear Size Sorting

Hey there! It's been a really long time since I posted here, so before the ladies give me an eviction notice (just kidding they are way to wonderful to EVER do such a thing!) I decided I needed to get working on a freebie!

As I started brainstorming ideas for my newest unit, I also thought about some of the skills we are currently working on in my classroom.

One of those many skills I'm working on with my kiddos is size sorting. I thought offering you guys a freebie to go along with my new unit would be a great way to have you *hopefully* wait patiently for it! :)

I know many of you probably have the traditional plastic bear counters in your classroom, which these cards would be great to use with. But just incase you don't have those, you can also print out the various sized bears included in the activity to use for size sorting.

Word Work: January Words!

Pumpkin Counting Playdoh Mats!

Hello! Glad to find you here at Freebielicious again! (Although I'm sure you've never had the chance to leave with all of the AH-MAZING freebies that are being posted) Playdoh mats are another favorite of mine. Especially for my youngsters. You can use these at home with your own kiddos, in the classroom as a fun center, or to work on reinforcing basic skills for students who need some extra help! ;)

Playdoh counting mats are great for practicing number recognition, applying one to one correspondence, and strengthening hand muscles for fine motor skills. And you can download this set for FREE! (Duh, Erin, we knew that-- we're at Freebilicious!)

This set includes numbers 1-10. Using orange playdoh (or your favorite recipe for pumpkin pie playdoh) strengthen those fine motor muscles by rolling out small balls of playdoh to represent pumpkins. Identify the number in the sentence and apply one to one correspondence as your count out the correct number of pumpkins for the vine.
