Thanks for the cute Daily 5 posters and anchor charts. They're very nice :)ChristinePreslar's Place @ www.mrspreslarsclass.blogspot.com
These are great! I'm really wanting to start the Daily 5 in my classroom this year- and I'm just wondering why are there more than one card here for each part of the Daily 5? I would appreciate any suggestions or tips. Thanks.
This is exactly what I need!!!! Going back to first this year. Ready to set up my Daily Five again.
I'm glad you can all use these cards and posters. Pam, I have more than one card because sometimes you have multiple students going to the same station at the same time. For example, some teachers make read to self mandatory for the first rotation. Does that make sense?Lori Teaching With Love and Laughterluvyorkies@gmail.com
Lori- so each child takes the card with them to their station/center ?
Pam, These cards were made to fit a pocket chart. Your children's names are in the chart from top to bottom on the left side, going down. At the top, across the pocket chart, are the 3 rotation cards. Each child does 3 rotations, so next to their names, would be the cards for the 3 rotation they go to each day. So Child A may go to read to self, writing, and word work, as his 3 rotations for the day. Those are the cards that would be next to his name, going across the chart, under the rotation cards.Lori Teaching With Love and Laughterluvyorkies@gmail.com
Awesome!! Thanks for posting!!MistyKrazyaboutteaching
Thanks Lori for helping. I'm definitely gonna have to check it out more. I'm a 'visual' person, so seeing for me always helps tremendously. I'm eager to learn more about center rotations as this seems to be my area of weakness.
Thank you - here from the TBA Friday hop! New follower! :)
