My classroom word wall reviews letter sounds while providing students with a visual anchor for the sight words they have already learned. Here you can see the sight words displayed beside each corresponding letter on the word wall.
Creating the word cards is EASY! To prepare, I just cut 3x5" pieces of brightly colored cardstock and printed the sight words onto Avery 5163 labels. When I am ready to create the word cards, I just peel the labels and stick them onto the card stock pieces.
EASY PEASY!
Free Sight Word Labels are available for the Pre-Primer, Primer, First, Second, and Third Grade Dolch lists. To download your FREE sight word labels, stop by the Kinder-Craze blog!
I adore these! I made some and will be posting about them on Monday! Thank you thank you Maria :)
ReplyDeleteOMG! This is such a great idea! My district went to the Dolch words last year and I have not made my word wall yet. The idea of using labels is pure genius! You are a huge help and great resource. I started a blog too!
