Scott Foresman Kindergarten Math Journal

Do you use Scott Foresman Math?! I created a Math Journal that aligns with this program. The first FREE journal that I am sharing with you is Chapter 7 (Time and Money). There is one journal page for each lesson 7-1 through 7-16. I also created a journal cover. You can put together and staple for your students, or you can copy the journal pages and just give them out each day. It is up to you! Whichever works best!

The journal prompts are very easy and they don't take very long at all to complete. It has prompts that include: drawing and labeling pictures of things they do on certain days of the week, times of day, and has them draw coin combinations to 10 cents....to name just a few things!

I have them do these BEFORE they had to math stations.

Print-N-Go Math Stations

Happy New Year friends! 2016! Sixteen?! Do you remember 1999 and all of the hullabaloo about it turning 2000? LOL! Think how far we have come and how far technology has come since then! I would like to say that this is a really smart lead in to my post...not so much! Just chattin' with ya...and showing my age (Oyy)

If I had one word to describe my goals for 2016 it would SIMPLIFY! My life (teaching and home) can be crazy hectic...because of me!!! I totally do it to myself. I need to Let it Go (cue Elsa now)! I like the cuteness! Let's face it, who doesn't like the cuteness, right?! However, my sweet little Kinders never comment on the Math or Literacy stations that I spend hours on! Well, they might say, "This is fun!" or "Can we please play...." but they never say, "Geez Mrs. Lee the clip art, the colors, the way you cut out the laminating...is simply perfect!" Not one time people! So, I am asking myself why do it? WHY?!

I want to make a complete new line of products that are Print-N-Go! That's it! Print. And. Go. BAM! I am starting with Math Stations. First up, is my Race to 20, Race to 50, and Race to 100 games! These are on sale right now in my store! Make sure you read the product description. I have created a fun little FREEBIE to go with these games. It too is Print-N-Go!  You can head over to my blog and read more about it!

These are so easy to teach and easy to use (simplify people!) They are black and white...no color ink! They don't need to be laminated! EASY!

I also wanted to give my more advanced students a little bit of a challenge. That's where your FREEBIE comes in! I created a cute Winter spinner to use with this.

Alphabet Zoo {ABC Chart}

My entire K team will be using an "Alphabet Zoo" theme next year.  There is an animal for each letter of the alphabet. Create an action to go with each letter when you introduce it. It gives your students an easy and fun way to remember letter sounds.

Today you can grab the Alphabet Zoo from A to Z {ABC Chart} for FREE! This chart is perfect for your guided reading groups, writing folders, or to place in stations!

Two days in a row?! I KNOW...right! :-) Although the flu has hit my house this weekend, I have been very productive! I am determined to have my Math Stations totally "Da Bomb" Did I just say that?! Oy! My Kreative In Kinder friend is rubbing off on me. Love you Crystal! SMOOCH!

Here is another Math Station that I made using my good friend, Nikki (Melonheadz), Love Bug Set! It is a measuring station. Students use the "net" ruler to measure the bugs and then record their answer on the response sheet.

Cuddle Bug Add The Room

Hello Freebielicous Followers!! It is January and we have only had one "cold day" in Nebraska so far! WHAT WHAT?! I know! I love snow days! I have taught my kiddos the ritual for a snow day the following day and everything. So, come on snow! I know some of you are just getting pounded with snow. I just want enough for a snow day :-) LOL! Stay healthy and warm friends!

On MLK day we had a district inservice. Part of the day was centered on Math. The one thing I like about those days is it gets me energized and a little excited about trying something new. I am in the process of revamping my Math block. I have made a few new Math items. The first is one I am going to share with you!

This is a fun add the room activity! Students find the cuddle bug, add the two dice and record their answers on the response sheet. You can grab your freebie by clicking the title page below.

Volunteer Organization

Happy Fall Y'all!! This year I am BLESSED with several parents that love to volunteer. Which makes me very happy! I have gone years that I have had 1 parent that can come in and help. Now, I know that some of you may not have ANY and I am sorry. So don't be jelly when I tell you that I have a parent coming in almost EVERY day this month. Say what?! YUP! You heard that right. This allows me to do so many things in my classroom that I may not have been able to do without their help.

I always make a calendar at the end of the previous month to send home with all volunteers. It includes volunteer name and time they are coming.

I have some "Thank You" cards set out with a little treat for my volunteers.
I always include directions on each project.

I have also included a friendly reminder. You could send this home a few days before your volunteer was to come in.

You can grab this volunteer freebie by clicking the cover page below.
